Unlimited Supply of Hays and Grasses

Before you intend to own a rabbit pet, the first and most important step that you need to have is an unlimited source of food for your bunny to eat. And they should be in the form of hays or grasses. If you do own a farm or a garden on your backyard then see to it that the hays or grasses can sustain the number of pets that you would like to own.

Hays and grasses are the major type of foods that are needed by a bunny on its daily diet. So if you are thinking of buying bags of pellets to feed on your pet for the rest of its entire life then that would be a big mistake.

Pellets are considered as 'treats' which means that it is being feed into your pet with a handful amounts once a day. Most commercial pellets also doesn't have enough fiber that can keep your bunny's intestines in good working condition.
